At Barrafina we use the white sourdough that we bake at our sister restaurant, Quo Vadis, just round the corner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Lightly toast the bread on both sides and  rub slice with the cut side of the garlic. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Using your hands, squeeze 2 or 3 tomatoes over each slice so that the juice and pips fall on to the toasted bread. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Drizzle a tablespoon of olive oil over each slice. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Season well with salt and pepper and sprinkle with a little chopped parsley before serving. <\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.3333%\">\n<p>Serves 4 as a tapas<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>4 slices of white sourdough bread, 2mm tick <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 garlic clove, peeled and halved<br>8-10 plumb tomatoes, halved<br>4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil<br>Maldon salt and freshly ground black pepper<br>1 tablespoon chopped fresh flat leaf parsley<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pair with <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/estrellagalicia.com\/gb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/eg-especial-botella-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41445\" width=\"74\" height=\"278\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Estrella Galicia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A traditional flavour of marked bitterness and refreshing aftertaste.<br><br>Available from: Waitrose, Sainsburys, Majestic, Co-op and Greene King online<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This recipe from Angel at Barrafina is all about the ingredients &#8211; good tomatoes, good extra virgin olive oil and goos bread. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":38840,"menu_order":0,"template":"","occasion":[35],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v22.8 -
