We are thrilled to be a partner of London Restaurant Festival, celebrating their fifteenth year!
Now that we’ve waved goodbye to another month of exclusive experiences across the city, we’re reminiscing about Estrella Galicia’s participation in the festival’s unrivalled Gastronomy.
This year, Estrella Galicia hosted Tapas Tours in Islington and Borough Yards, the latter of which was hosted by our Executive Chef Paco Torrico, as well as an exclusive Tasting Menu paired with Estrella Galicia at Brindisa Battersea hosted by founder Monika Linton.
One of the absolute highlights of the month was a showstopping, 15-course lunch hosted by Michelin-starred chef Nieves Barragan at Sabor on Heddon Street. In celebration of the festival’s 15th anniversary, Nieves developed a 15-course menu showcasing her journey through the London food scene in the last 15 years. Paired with beers from Estrella Galicia, guests enjoyed authentic Spanish dishes, from tender tuna loin in sherry wine, to diver caught scallop before finishing off with mouth-wateringly good desserts including chargrilled pineapple sorbet with chilli.
It certainly was an afternoon to remember, and the perfect end to the penultimate week of our Autumn festival.
